After two rather mixed performances in the recent competitive matches against Blau-Weiß Kirchhoven (3:0 victory) and VfL Übach-Boscheln (0:1 defeat), the first victory in the Sonderliga was achieved in the second match.

Initially nervous and even falling behind, the Lions quickly struck back with the help of the opponent (own goal). After that, it was our boys' game, and with two more goals, the 3:1 halftime score was secured.

For a brief moment, tension arose again when JSG Breberen-Gangelt-Hastenrath closed the gap to 3:2 midway through the second half. But once again, two quick goals followed, leading to the 5:2 final score.

Next up is an away game this coming Saturday at FC Wegberg-Beeck. In a test match a week ago, a 2:2 draw was achieved here. It promises to be an exciting match against one of the favorites in this strong Sonderliga.
