In the home game, the guest from Erkelenz was slightly stronger in the first ten minutes, but the longer the game lasted, the better our boys became. After a great play, the 1:0 came midway through the first half. In the second half, many great chances were created, but the relieving second goal just wouldn't come. The referee brought the guest back into the game with three wrong decisions within a minute. A foul that wasn't one against us, a foul on us that instead resulted in a corner for Erkelenz, and a handball during ball control leading to the equalizer. Even after that, things didn't improve from a neutral perspective: a clear foul that should have resulted in a penalty was inexplicably not called. Regarding the draw, it must be said that, unlike the draw a week ago in Beeck, these were two lost points. Tellingly, the best man on the field was the Erkelenz goalkeeper, while the worst, with the movement radius of a beer coaster, was the referee.
