In the game against the guest from Kückhoven, our Lions were already 1:0 behind after just 9 seconds (!), despite having the kickoff. The gifts continued throughout the game. At the back, inexplicable mistakes, and at the front, too much haste in finishing. After the 2:0, the Lions managed to score a goal to make it 2:1, but right after the restart, they conceded another goal. However, the boys from Lieck showed morale and equalized before halftime with two goals. The 3:3 was curious: Kückhoven wanted to make a substitution, but the throw-in had already been taken. Both teams suddenly stopped playing, but the referee let the game continue. This allowed the goal to be scored almost unhindered.

For the second half, a lot was planned, but with two clean goals, the guest pulled away to 5:3. The goal to make it 4:5 brought hope again. But in the remaining 14 minutes, the equalizer, despite the famous battering ram, did not come.

Shortly before the end, the Kückhoven goalkeeper was injured during a defensive action. We wish him a speedy recovery.
