Coaching change for the First Team.
Daniel Lennartz and Willy Steitz will take over as coaches for the second half of the season.
After a weak first half of the season with only 9 points from 11 games, the club sees the league survival in jeopardy and has pushed for a change in the coaching position.
The entire Board emphasizes its great appreciation for the work and time that the previous coach Stefan Koch has invested in the team and the club.
We thank Stefan for his tremendous commitment over the past years as coach of our Second and First Team. Stefan is always warmly welcome at our club.
However, to give a new impulse in the relegation battle, we have decided on a new coaching duo.
Daniel and Willy are no strangers to our club. As players in the youth and senior teams as well as in roles within the youth Board, both have been connected to the club for many years.
We wish them great success with their new task and are convinced that the team will have a strong second half of the season.
