Now it's official. As the city of Heinsberg announced, construction will begin this summer. The cinder pitch will be replaced by a new, modern artificial turf pitch. We are very happy about this decision, as the new surface will offer us completely new possibilities in the future. Especially during the darker months, training sessions and games will be able to take place on the new surface, providing significantly better conditions for the youth and senior teams compared to the aging cinder pitch. Special thanks go to the city of Heinsberg, particularly the Lieck district representative Patrick Räde and the Heinsberg district representative Siegfried Jansen, who made it possible for us to have the best conditions even in bad weather and to make the Seestadion one of the most beautiful and modern sports facilities in the district.
