FC Rhenania Immendorf remains winless in the second match within five days at the Seestadion against our young Lions. After the narrow cup defeat on Tuesday, the guest had high ambitions, but it quickly became clear that only the home team could leave the pitch as winners. In the absence of the successful coach Nexhmi, our boys created chance after chance. It seemed like a clear game, but the Lieck defense, as well as our two goalkeepers who switched at halftime, constantly had to be on guard against the dangerous Immendorf counterattacks. It took until the 23rd minute for the first goal to be scored. Three minutes later, the reassuring 2:0 halftime score followed. In the second half, the Lieck team found it easier in front of the goal, and Immendorf could no longer keep up physically. In the end, it was 6:1. The result was more than deserved, even in its magnitude.
Next up is a home game on Tuesday in the preliminary most important match of their young careers in the cup semifinals against 1. FC Wassenberg-Orsbeck.
On Saturday, the last league match of the U13 qualification follows at the neighbor in Kirchhoven.
